Iniciativas APDC Desenvolver localmente para impactar globalmente Já está a decorrer a edição de 2023 do World Summit Awards (WSA). A seleção dos projetos portugueses que irão representar o país neste concurso internacional, que visa distinguir as melhores soluções de inovação digital local com impacto na sociedade, envolvendo cerca de 187 países, volta a ser da responsabilidade da APDC. Em todas as edições têm sido selecionados projetos portugueses entre os 40 vencedores mundiais. O WSA permite o acesso a uma plataforma mundial e a uma rede de startups, empreendedores sociais, mentores, jurados, oradores, peritos, líderes governamentais, academia e sociedade civil que lhes permitirá ganhar projeção global. As candidaturas no mercado nacional encerraram a 29 de agosto, decorrendo agora o processo de análise e de seleção dos projetos finais s - um por cada 8 das categorias. A esta fase de pré-seleção puderam candidatar-se todas as aplicações digitais - web, móveis, sms, jogos e produtos interativos - desenvolvidas por pessoas ou empresas, não havendo limitações em termos de plataformas ou canais com os quais os projetos trabalham. Essencial é que todas as soluções candidatas estejam já no mercado ou prontas para arrancar, sendo que não podem ter sido criadas há mais de dois anos. De acordo com a timeline definida para o WSA 2023, a seleção e anúncio dos projetos ao nível local decorrerá entre setembro e outubro. Seguir-se-á, em novembro, a análise por um júri online, que selecionará a shortlist das melhores soluções a serem selecionadas em depois por um Grand Jury. O WSA Global Congress, onde se anunciarão os vencedores desta nova edição e os Global Champions (um por categoria), está previsto para março de 2024. Saiba mais em wsaportugal.pt Developing locally to impact globally The 2023 edition of the World Summit Awards (WSA) is already underway. APDC is once again responsible for selecting the Portuguese projects that will represent the country in this international competition, which aims to honour the best local digital innovation solutions with an impact on society, involving around 187 countries. In every edition, Portuguese projects have been selected among the 40 winners worldwide. The WSA provides access to a global platform and a network of startups, social entrepreneurs, mentors, judges, speakers, experts, government leaders, academia and civil society that will allow them to gain global exposure. Applications on the national market closed on 29 August and the process of analysing and selecting the final projects - one for each of the 8 categories - is now underway. This pre-selection phase was open to all digital applications - web, mobile, sms, games and interactive products - developed by individuals or companies, with no limitations in terms of the platforms or channels the projects work with. It is essential that all candidate solutions are already on the market or ready to go, and they must not have been created more than two years ago. According to the timeline defined for WSA 2023, the selection and announcement of projects at local level will take place between September and October. This will be followed in November by analysis by an online jury, which will select the shortlist of the best solutions, which will then be selected by a Grand Jury.
